Hardcore without losing the DayZ foundation

Continent is designed for players who want a recognisable DayZ experience with systems that make decisions last longer. There is no oversized client modpack between the player and the server. The changes happen around the world, the infected, base ownership and the tools available to a squad.

01Persistent worlds

A long wipe cycle gives bases, alliances and rivalries time to become part of server history.

02Meaningful base raids

Code cycling is protected. Raids use intended physical methods during the published weekend schedule.

03Smarter infected

Awareness, door use, rooftop pursuit and roaming encounters make familiar routes less predictable.

04Squad coordination

Use the browser map to follow permitted squad members and manage shared or private markers.

How to join a Continent DayZ server

  1. 01
    Open the official DayZ launcher

Start DayZ through Steam and open the Servers section.

  2. 02
    Select Community servers

Use the search field and enter Continent.

  3. 03
    Choose Chernarus or Nasdara

Check the map, player count and game port before connecting.

  4. 04
    Favourite the server

Save it in the launcher so the same world is easy to find on your next session.

CONNECTION QUALITY

The network is hosted for European players and is also intended to remain practical for the United Kingdom and many American connections. Actual latency depends on location, provider and routing, so verify the ping shown by the DayZ launcher before joining.

Server questions

Do I need to download a client mod?

No. Join through the normal DayZ launcher without installing a separate Continent client package.

Are the servers first person only?

Yes. Continent is built around a first-person survival experience on PC.

Which maps are available?

The network currently lists its configured Chernarus and Nasdara worlds above. Live availability is shown on each server card.

Where can I read the detailed rules?

Start with the DayZ server systems overview, then open the base, raid, seasons, infected or squad guide that applies to your question.
